Product Description

Screw type waterproof and breathable valve, commonly known as respirator, breathable screw, etc. 

This product uses our company and partners to jointly develop EPTFE membrane material, with the

 outer shell PA66+20% fiberglass material injection molded into one piece, and the outer shell is 

high-temperature resistant silicone O-ring. The membrane material and the shell are combined 

through a tight packaging process, which has the characteristics of stable performance, simple 

installation, long use time, and high waterproof and breathable performance.

1. Installation location

The position of the installation hole should be prioritized to be perpendicular to the ground on the side, with the waterproof

 and breathable valve installed horizontally. Next, choose the bottom installation, and avoid positions that are easily covered 

by rainwater, dust, and other objects. To prevent the waterproof and breathable membrane micropores from being blocked by coverings.

2. Design of installation holes

The Le De M12 * 1.5 series products use a 14 * 9 * 2.5 O-ring with a hardness of 50 and a groove design to prevent O-ring overflow.

Suggest a typical installation hole with a chamfer of 120 degrees and a diameter of 14.2mm. The installation torque is suitable from 5.0 to 6.0 kgf.cm.

Lede Company's waterproof and breathable valve groove design facilitates users to better chamfer threaded holes within the specified torque range:

90 degree chamfer, applicable from 12.0 to 14.6mm.

A 120 degree chamfer can be applied from 12.0 to 15.0mm.

Precautions before installation

Before installation, it is necessary to prepare a suitable sleeve or straight screwdriver for the electric screwdriver, and adjust the torque to 5.2 to 5.8 Kgf.cm.

2. Confirm whether the upper cover is properly covered and whether it will loosen. If it does, press it tightly to avoid falling off.

3. Personnel are prohibited from opening the top cover and scraping the waterproof and breathable film with their fingers.

4. Confirm if the O-ring is damaged.

Product maintenance

To avoid external conditions, a protective cover has been added to the surface of the Lede breathable valve, 

which can minimize the impact of external conditions. However, in extremely harsh outdoor environment, in 

order to prevent the vent valve from being blocked by dust and silt, the facial mask body of the vent valve 

can be maintained as necessary according to different service conditions

Maintenance method:

1. Use a flat screwdriver to pry off the upper cover outward. When prying off, avoid using too much force

 to damage the cover and waterproof breathable film.

3. Close the upper cover and press it tightly.

Storage requirements

1. Avoid direct sunlight, approach heat sources, and dust;

2. Storage time shall not exceed 1 year;

3. Place excess products in their original packaging during production;

4. When changing packaging, attention should be paid to protecting the product's teeth.
